The Story Behind This Map
I’m Serkan. For years, I’ve been that person friends ask, “How do you travel internationally so cheap?” SaverMap exists for one simple reason: People think international travel is expensive because they don’t have the right tool to discover what’s actually affordable.
Why SaverMap?
I used to do what everyone does — open a flight search engine, type in my city to Paris or Tokyo, see a $1,500 price tag, and close the tab immediately. Then I realized the problem wasn’t wanting to go to Paris. The problem was that no tool answered the real question: “I have $800 and a free weekend — where can I actually afford to go?”
SaverMap fills that gap. Pick your city, set your budget, and watch the map light up with every international destination you can realistically afford. If Paris is $1,500, we won’t pretend it’s cheap — but we’ll show you Lisbon for $340, Mexico City for $280, or Budapest for $410 from the same departure city.

Every price you see on this map comes from trips I or our community have actually taken, slept through, and budgeted for:

Can I really find an international trip under $500 from the US?
Yes — and not just to Canada or Mexico. We've mapped round-trip flights to Europe, Central America, and the Caribbean under $500 from major US cities during flash sales and shoulder seasons. The trick is timing + destination flexibility, which is exactly what our map optimizes for.
Is SaverMap a booking site or a search tool?
We're a discovery and planning tool, not a booking engine. Think of us as the step before you book — the place where you decide where to go based on what you can actually afford. Once you pick a destination, we send you to trusted partners (airlines, OTAs) to complete your reservation.
Do I need to know my travel dates to use the map?
Not at all. You can explore destinations by budget only and see what's generally cheap from your city. If you do have specific dates, our live fare layer shows real-time prices. But the map works great for "I have $800 and a free weekend — where should I go?" scenarios too.
